Complete Hampshire County Council’s (HCC) survey now to tell them where improvements for nature recovery in East Hampshire should go and what action might be happening locally to help nature in your area.

Have your say

The UK is currently one of the most nature-depleted countries on Earth, according to The State of Nature Report 2023. There has been significant loss of plants, animals, and fungi over centuries due to habitat loss and persecution.

As part of the plan to reverse the decline, Hampshire County Council is asking residents, community groups and organisations including businesses, parish councils and others to take part in a survey to say:

  • Where you would like to see improvements for nature recovery
  • What your priorities for nature are
  • What barriers stop you from accessing nature

Completing the online survey should take only a few minutes and will provide valuable information.

Working with the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, the county council is also arranging a series of community workshops. Details of the workshops are on HCC’s Nature Recovery webpages.
