Designed to inspire the next generation of digital professionals and support those looking to change careers, Click will showcase the wide range of opportunities available across the digital and technology sectors.
Representatives from a variety of industries are being encouraged to exhibit, offering attendees a chance to discover career pathways, learn about skills development and explore local employment opportunities.
Damian Hinds MP will open the event, and businesses already signed up include OPSES, designers of emergency vehicle equipment, based in West Tisted and Lamplight, an award-winning video production company.
Cllr Robert Mocatta, EHDC Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Prosperity, said: “Digital skills are opening doors to exciting careers in almost every sector, and this event is a fantastic opportunity for young people and anyone interested in technology to discover what’s possible.
“Click will bring together innovative local businesses to showcase the wide range of careers available in the digital sector, helping people explore different pathways into the industry. Whether you're choosing your next step after school, thinking about a career change, or looking to build new skills, this event will provide inspiration, advice and real-world insights from people already working in tech.
“We want to encourage the next generation of digital talent by showing that rewarding and future-focused careers are available right here in our area.”
The project is funded through East Hampshire District Council’s Grow Up programme as part of the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
