Shape tomorrow’s tech workforce at Click

Business are invited to take part in a brand new event showcasing the best in tech jobs and opportunities. 

Click - Working in a Digital World, is an event run by EHDC and the Department for Work and Pensions, this September. 

Designed to inspire the next generation of digital professionals and support those looking to change careers, the event will showcase the wide range of opportunities available across the digital and technology sectors. 

Representatives from a variety of industries are being encouraged to exhibit, offering attendees a chance to discover career pathways, learn about skills development and explore local employment opportunities. 

Click will be held on Friday 25 September 2026, from 10am to 3pm, at The Maltings, Alton. Damian Hinds MP will open the day which will include a dedicated business networking hour, providing exhibitors with the opportunity to build relationships, share ideas and raise their profile before the event opens to the public. 

It will also bring together employers, education providers and local residents to strengthen links between business and the community. 

Cllr Robert Mocatta, EHDC Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Prosperity, said: “"Digital skills are becoming increasingly important across almost every industry, and this event is about helping people understand the exciting opportunities available right here in our area. 

“We're encouraging businesses of all sizes to get involved, showcase the fantastic work they do and inspire the next generation of talent. Whether someone is starting out, considering a career change or looking to develop new skills, Click will demonstrate the wide range of pathways into the digital world." 

 

The event aims to: 

  • Showcase careers across the digital and technology sectors 
  • Inspire young people and career changers 
  • Connect employers directly with local talent 
  • Strengthen partnerships between businesses, education providers and the wider community

East Hampshire District Council and the DWP are now offering businesses the chance to take part as exhibitors.
