VetsFest is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the value our armed forces personnel and their families bring to communities in East Hampshire.

To celebrate and support our veterans and active‑duty armed forces in East Hampshire we've teamed up with Petersfield Town Council to repeat the East Hampshire Veterans Festival.
VetsFest is a free to attend drop-in event, being held on Saturday 19 September 2026 at Petersfield Festival Hall, GU31 4EA, from 10am til 3pm.
This friendly and welcoming festival, gives ex-service people an opportunity to meet with service charities and other veterans for advice, assistance and support.
From mental and physical health, to financial, housing and pension support, a range of stallholders from national organisations and local East Hampshire groups and charities will be on hand providing support for veterans.
Strange Old Things mobile museum will be attending all day, refreshments are available, and music entertainment from the Veterans Outreach Support Choir from 11am.

Supporting our armed forces community is a priority for EHDC
A veteran is someone who has completed at least one days service in any division of the armed forces.
EHDC's Armed Force Champion and Royal Navy veteran, Councillor Phil Shaw, said: “I am so pleased that this festival has returned for another year.
"This festival offers so much for armed forces veterans and their families. It gives them the chance to explore a wide range of information and provides support, advice, discussion, networking and friendship.”
