A local plan is the key document that sets out the priorities and policies for development in a certain area. It shows the opportunities for development in the area, and states what will and will not be permitted and where.

Adopted local plan

The plan sets the amount of housing and employment development required within the district over the plan period, allocates strategic housing and employment sites and contains policies used in the determination of planning applications.

Site submission

Suggestions of sites to be considered in the Land Availability Assessment (LAA) can be submitted at any time using the Site Submission Form.
