Second Phase of UPE Scheme
If you’re currently in the UK under the UPE scheme, you’ll be able to apply to receive an additional 24 months permission to stay in the UK.
You can now apply to the UPE scheme 90 days before your current Ukraine Scheme permission expires, for both first and second time UPE applications.
It remains free to apply.
Applying at any point within the 90-day window will not reduce the total permission granted. Any remaining valid permission will be added to your new grant.
You must make an application before your current permission expires.
It is important that you know the date when your current permission will end so that you apply to UPE in time.
You must be inside the UK when making an application to UPE. Your application will not be valid and may be rejected if you apply from outside the UK
You can apply for the scheme using the ‘Apply’ section.
Hampshire Connect to Work Scheme

- The programme delivers personalised, one‑to‑one support through a flexible approach, tailored to individual needs and aspirations. Participants work with a dedicated adviser to develop an agreed action plan focused on building confidence, identifying transferable skills, and improving employability. Support is available for up to 12 months and progression at a pace appropriate to the individual.
- The programme promotes realistic and sustainable employment outcomes, including part‑time, flexible or hybrid roles that reflect participants’ circumstances. We support individuals to address barriers such as adapting to local workplace culture, limited recent work experience, language development, and confidence.

Contemporary Ukrainian Art Exhibition

Pic: Ludmila Bamforth
We would like to share with you a message from Maryna Melynk regarding the recent international Ukrainian art exhibition “Ornament of the Soul”, which took place at St Faith’s Church in Havant:
The exhibition brought together more than 20 Ukrainian artists and creative projects from England, Wales, Scotland, Poland, Cyprus, Ukraine and other countries. I had the honour of contributing to the project as co-curator together with Iryna Tolokonnikova, who is a founder of the Ukrainian Artists & Art - non-profitable platform.
The exhibition focused on themes of Ukrainian identity, cultural heritage, resilience and the importance of preserving culture during the war.
The online exhibition archive may be of interest and all exhibited works can be viewed online by using the link below.
