Authority Monitoring Report (AMR)

As a legislative requirement under Regulation 34 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2012, the AMR is the main mechanism for assessing the performance and effects of East Hampshire District Council’s Development Plan and the timescales set out in the Local Development Scheme (LDS).

AMR’s have a dual purpose;

  • To monitor progress during the report period towards Local Development Documents as set out in the Local Development Scheme (LDS), and
  • To monitor the effectiveness of policies set out in Local Development Documents.

All published AMR’s can be viewed below. AMR’s were previously known as Annual Monitoring Reports. These reports are based on financial years.
