If you told us that your caddy wasn't delivered, you're on our list and the distributors will get to you as soon as possible.
What to do with your food waste caddies
So, your food waste caddy pack has been delivered. What now?
The small caddy is for your kitchen; the big one is for outside and is the one that will be emptied by our crews.
- Step 1 – Take out the instruction leaflet and stickers and look through the instruction leaflet – it’s got information about the service and how it will work
- Step 2 – Attach the large day-glo sticker to your outdoor caddy. Make sure the surface is clean and dry before applying it, then smooth the sticker down to prevent any bubbles forming underneath. Write your house number or name on the bottom of the sticker using a permanent marker, so it’s easy to identify and doesn’t get mixed up with your neighbours'
- Step 3 – Put the smaller ‘what can go in your kitchen caddy’ sticker on your kitchen caddy and the ‘no food waste please’ sticker on your refuse (green) bin as a reminder to keep recycling your food waste
- Step 4 – Find your collection day
If you live in a flat, you’ll receive a kitchen caddy, instruction leaflet and sticker and access to a shared food waste bin in your bin store. All you need to do is have a look at the instruction leaflet and put the sticker on your kitchen caddy.
