Community groups and parish councils across East Hampshire are hosting volunteers’ festivals in August and September to help residents discover local volunteering opportunities. 

Eight events will be held across the district, bringing together charities, community groups, clubs and societies to showcase the many ways people can get involved and make a difference in their local community. 

EHDC is supporting the events with funding as part of East Hampshire District Council’s Grow Up programme, through the UK Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. 

Whether you have a few hours to spare, want to meet new people, develop your skills or support a cause you care about, there are volunteering opportunities for people of all ages, interests and experience levels. 

The festivals will give residents the opportunity to meet organisations working in their area and find out more about the support they provide to local communities. 

A wide range of organisations will be attending, from district-wide charities to smaller groups serving individual towns and villages.
