Food vouchers

£15 food vouchers may be available through your local library. Please contact them to see if they have any available.

We have issued more than 4,500 food vouchers to residents through the Household Support Fund allocated by Hampshire County Council (HCC) and expect to issue more in early 2023.

Free meals at Morrisons

Everyone and anyone, both adults and children, can 'Ask for Ellen' at any MorrisonsCafé to receive two toasted crumpets, with butter and jam for free - no questions asked. Ask for Ellen will be available all day, in any of Morrisons 398 Cafés across the UK from July 17 to August 13, while stock lasts.

Help for households campaign

The help for households campaign has a list of  discounts and offers from supermarkets, clothing and shoe shops and utility companies  that you might find helpful.

£2 bus fare cap

The £2 fare cap on single tickets (and £4 for a return) has been extended until the end of October 2023. Then it will go up to £2.50 until 30 November 2024, when bus fares will be reviewed. Visit GOV.UK to find out which services are included in the cap.
