Update
You may be aware that caravans moved onto a field in Medstead at the junction of Abbey Road and Wivelrod Road on Friday evening, 22 May. EHDC officers are fully aware of the matter and are actively dealing with it.
Council officers attended the site on the weekend and this morning (26/05), in response to the complaints raised.
Our enforcement team are currently considering the facts of the site visits and are engaging with senior officers, our legal team and top London Barristers Chambers to assess what action is necessary.
We will provide updates as soon as we are able, but in the meantime please be assured this is being dealt with. Please only report new information on this matter.
