As part of the evidence base to support the new Local Plan an up to date Landscape Capacity Study has been produced by consultants Terrafirma (September 2018). This supersedes the Landscape Capacity Study 2013. The new Study, covering the Planning Authority area (“the Area”), provides a robust assessment of the landscape capacity of the Area’s landscape, an understanding of where the landscape and visual impacts would be greatest and identifies areas which may have capacity to accommodate change.
