East Hampshire is ready to receive fantastic new leisure facilities.
Two brand new leisure centres are to be built - in Alton and in Whitehill & Bordon - while the Taro Leisure Centre in Petersfield has received a multi-million pound refurbishment.
The new and improved facilities – a total investment of more than £30m - are being delivered by East Hampshire District Council and the sports and leisure provider Everyone Active.
The new centres will be built during 2019 while the refurbishment of the Taro has now been completed.
EHDC has signed a 20-year contract with Everyone Active which now runs all three leisure centres on a day-to-day basis.
The agreement between East Hampshire District Council and Everyone Active has allowed the new facilities to be delivered and will provide an income for the council to put towards vital local services.
As part of running the centres Everyone Active will also be promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging local people to improve their to take up sports and active hobbies.
East Hampshire Leisure Card
The East Hampshire Leisure Card is a partnership between Everyone Active and East Hampshire District Council that applies a discount to activities on site for those that are in receipt of certain benefits, and live in the East Hampshire District. The card is free of charge.
If eligible for the scheme, you will receive 20% off the standard price of the following activities:
- Casual gym sessions (not fitness memberships)
- Swimming sessions
- Court bookings for squash and badminton
- Advanced court bookings
To enrol on the scheme, please complete the following application form and pop into reception at your nearest leisure centre.

You will then be given your leisure card. Every time you come to site, bring your card and the discount will be applied.
