Community groups, councils and local companies that run projects promoting tourism and supporting our rural communities can apply for grants of up to £50,000.
Our Rural Grants, funded by the Government, are a fantastic way to fund your plans to improve your local area for visitors and residents.
But hurry, because the application window closes on Wednesday 27 August.
In previous years grant have been awarded to local councils, charities, businesses and tourist attractions for projects as varied as audio visual equipment for Alton Arts Festival to a Shepherd’s Hut at the Sustainability Centre in East Meon.
If you’re running a scheme that will meet the grants criteria, then make sure you get your application in as soon as possible.
This year the Government has allocated £101,394 for the grants, which can be between £5,000 and £50,000 each.
Depending on the community and social impact they bring they may require no match funding at all. Eligible commercial projects may have to provide match funding of up to 50 per cent.
