There are several different ways to pay your council tax.
The easiest way is to pay monthly by direct debit. You can set this up by filling the direct debit registration form online, or by calling our customer services centre on 01730 234400.
You can choose to set up the payment for the 1st, 7th, 15th, 24th or 28th of each month.
You can pay your Council Tax online with your debit card (you can't use any other type of card).
You can call dial-and-pay 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Please call 0845 023 2576 and follow the guidance. You will need your reference number (this is the council tax account number beginning with '710' which you can find on your bill) and your debit card (this option is debit card only).
Calls cost 4p per minute plus your phone company's access charge. For more information please see Ofcom's call costs guide.
You can set up a regular standing order or make one off payments through your bank. Please make sure that you quote the correct reference number (this is the council tax account number beginning with '710' which you can find on your bill).
The council's bank details are:
- East Hampshire District Council
- Sort code 57 33 42
- Account number 00000000
Please note that failure to quote the correct reference number could mean that your payment will be delayed.
