Our climate and environment strategy 2024-29 was agreed with cross-party support in July 2024.
The next five years are key to build momentum in our journey to net zero carbon emissions as a council and a district.
It sets out our priorities for the life of the strategy (each of which is a page in this section):

The plan
Our strategic delivery plan lists the actions we’ll be taking to help reduce the carbon emissions of the council and district.
A yearly action plan is prioritised each year to direct resources from this strategic delivery plan.
